This book was an excellent resource for teaching chess to my teen. The pictures/charts provided a visual element that detanlged the twisty game of chess into something that could be easily learned and enjoyed.
As a beginning chess player, this book was just what I needed! It is well organized and easy to understand. The many diagrams also are very helpful. And, perhaps the best thing is that you can learn at your own pace -- no pressure! I highly recommend this great little manual for any novice chess player!
