BB & Katie's book was a fun, free spirited story. BB is a Navy SEAL, who is chosen to be in the new ad campaign for recruitment of Spec Ops, Katie is an Ad Executive who has been chosen to be his handler. There is a fairly large age gap here, which doesn't bother me and many older women would love a younger, energetic man on her arm. Who says this can't possibly work, other than Katie. BB must convince her that after just one night, they are perfect for each other. She needs a little convincing and he is just the man to do it. I think this book did just what it was supposed to do, reel me in and make me want more! I have read this entire series and wish it never had to end! Thank you Cat!

I really didn't want to give this four stars only because it was so damn short, i thought that i had somehow downloaded only a sample! After checking, imagine my surprise and disappointment that this was it!? But, who am i to argue with the author? Still loved the story albeit it's length. Loved, loved, loved it when paired with Model Soldier! It was fun and always nice to put another piece to the puzzle of the elite Special Force's soldiers.
Incredibly well-written short story. The characters really came alive. The developing attraction (and romance) between the hero and heroine was very believable, with a fine insight to spec op warriors and the advertising business. An enjoyable message that love finds a way even when two people have differences (even differences that go against social expectations). My first read by Cat Johnson--and now I must go find many more! Definitely recommend!
BB Dalton has to ditch his camo's for briefs. He has to go back to his former career which he is not enamor of but his older handler makes him think it might not all be bad. He has to work had to overcome her fears of falling for an older woman.Lovely read without taking forever to get through the BS the lady puts herself and the hero through. He also waits before making his move on her it isn't they meet and fall into bed same day stuff.
I'm not a big proponent of age being the determining factor in someone's maturity -- but there is a pretty good gap between 27 and 39 and it's more than just 12 years of AGE. However, skipping that issue, the book read pretty well. It was entertaining enough until the very end where it felt incredibly rushed and unrealistic. It was almost like someone told the author the word-count was almost up. Wrap it up!

I gave it three stars because, other than the ending, it was well-written and entertaining, if somewhat far-fetched.
BB Dalton is the first short novella in the Red, Hot, & Blue series that I've read written by author Cat Johnson. I definitely will read more.
I am shocked at some of the reviews I found here, and it makes me glad that I don't read them until after I have read the book itself.
I thought this book was wonderful, playful and energetic.
A beginning to end story is hard to cram into a few short pages, And Cat Johnson did it perfectly. This book had me sucked into a vortex of possibilities and romance, and who can fault a writer for providing that to readers?
I enjoyed every word, and I will read each and everyone after it, because I am hooked on Cat's style.
BB Dalton by Cat Johnson is a quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms Johnson has delivered a well written book. The characters are fun and lovable. BB Dalton is made up of bits of drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading BB Dalton and look forward to reading more from Cat Johnson in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
